Our Story
Gill Rae founded Ageing Actively CIC after years of working as a Social Activity Coordinator for Age UK, where she saw the powerful impact of social connection and physical activity on older adults' wellbeing.

Gill went on to run her own successful sessions for seniors, winning Partner of the Year with A2Dominion and the Health & Wellbeing Award at the Runnymede Borough Council Business Awards.

Wanting to reach even more people, Gill created the Fall Prevention Hub through Ageing Actively CIC. With support from fantastic sponsors, the Hub now offers free, fun, and social OTAGO-based classes that help improve strength, balance, and confidence—all topped off with a cuppa and cake!
Our Mission
To provide enjoyable classes and activities for seniors to come together to increase and maintain their strength and improve their balance in a way that is fun for all. As our mobility declines with age, we can help ourselves through a series of exercises, activities and personal challenges to help prevent falls, and maintain independence, confidence and happiness.
